Founder’s Landing is located in Marquette, Michigan in the scenic Upper Peninsula. The site is on the shores of Lake Superior within downtown Marquette. Marquette is nationally recognized for its culture, sailing, biking, golfing, skiing and other outdoor activities. It is a community well known by outdoor enthusiasts and artists.
The Urban Project will develop Founder’s Landing in three phases. The first phase, The Rows, is scheduled to break ground in September of 2007. The Rows will consist of 28 row-houses that line the beach and provide sweeping views of the Lower Harbor. Planned for future phases are a hotel, condominiums, restaurants, retail spaces, marina, office building and more row-houses. The entire development is scheduled to be complete by 2012.
