Where are Green Buildings?
It is going on all over the world. Here are a few stats highlighting the growth of the Green Building industry over the past five years:

• Since 2001, LEED-Certified Projects in U.S. have seen an average increase of 400% per year
• More than 4,000 identified 'green' products are sold in the market
• The arrival of Green mortgages by lenders such as Fannie Mae/NAHB
• The U.S. Green Building Council has grown from 3 members in 1993 to over 4,000 in 2005
• Between 1990 and 2004, roughly 61,000 homes were erected with the guidance of local green building programs
